What Awaits You at the Spa?

A spa visit is a planned relaxation experience from the moment you walk in to the moment you get up from the rest area. If it's your first time, here's how it goes: we start with a short welcome chat to hear what you need that day, we finalise your programme together, and then take you to your private room — the rest of the time is entirely yours. You don't need to know exactly what you want beforehand; recommending the right programme is our job.

  1. Welcome and needs chat — Where has your tension built up? Are you after quiet, skincare, or muscle relief? Your programme is shaped around the answers.
  2. Choosing your programme — Massage, hammam, sauna, or a combination — the duration and order are arranged around you.
  3. Preparation — You're given single-use textiles and your cabin key, and can change comfortably.
  4. Treatment — Sessions take place in your own private room with sterilised equipment; you set the pace at every stage.
  5. Rest and refreshments — At the end of the programme, relax with herbal tea and light refreshments for a gentle transition back into your day.

There's one rule throughout: no rushing. The value of your spa day lies in the uninterrupted time you give yourself.

How Should You Plan Your Spa Day?

A good spa programme follows a simple formula: heat first, then touch, then rest. Heat (hammam or sauna) loosens the muscles; a massage then works far deeper into a body that's already primed; and the closing rest break seals in the experience. Three sample flows depending on how much time you have:

  • Quick break (60-75 min): A short sauna round + a 50-minute classic massage. The most practical option after work.
  • Classic spa (around 2 hours): Hammam ritual (scrub & foam) + massage + tea break. The most balanced programme for a first spa experience.
  • Full renewal (half a day): Sauna + hammam + aromatherapy massage + scrub & foam ritual + extended rest. Ideal for special occasions or "resetting" after a demanding period.

Do I need to choose my programme in advance?

Not necessarily. We set a general outline over the phone and adjust it on the day based on how you're feeling. Our only tip is on timing: set aside at least 2 hours for programmes that include the hammam; shorter, massage-focused programmes wrap up in 60-90 minutes. We're open every day from 10:30 - 03:00, so late-hour programmes are possible too.

What Do You Get Out of a Spa Visit?

The most tangible thing a spa gives you is a few uninterrupted hours that are entirely yours: no phone, no rushing, no decision fatigue. This break shows up as looser muscle tension, a sense of better sleep quality, and a calm that carries into the next day.

  • Physical relaxation: The heat + massage combination helps ease the everyday tension that builds up across the shoulders, neck and lower back.
  • Mental refresh: A quiet room, soft lighting and aromatherapy scents make it easier for your mind to step out of "always-on" mode.
  • Scrub & foam ritual: Skin looks visibly fresher after the scrub and foam treatment.
  • The ritual effect: Regular spa breaks are a planned act of self-care rather than an occasional one — and that's exactly what makes it sustainable.

How often should you take a spa break?

As a general guide, one full programme a month or a short break every two to three weeks keeps most working people balanced. During demanding periods — a project deadline, exam week, moving house — a spa day planned for right after can also work as motivation: "once this is done, I'll treat myself." The right frequency depends on your own pace; we tailor the programme to what you need on the day, every time.

An honest note: a spa is not a medical treatment and shouldn't be marketed as one. For chronic pain or health conditions, please talk to your doctor, and we'll adapt your spa programme together based on their advice.

What Should You Keep in Mind Before Coming to the Spa?

Short answer: just bring yourself. Wraps, towels, slippers and all personal textiles are fresh and single-use for every guest; care products are ready and waiting at our salon. A few details to make your experience seamless:

  • Arrive 10-15 minutes before your appointment so there's no rush for the welcome chat and preparation.
  • Eat something light 1-2 hours before your programme; a full stomach is uncomfortable during hammam or sauna-based flows.
  • Drink plenty of water throughout the day; staying hydrated matters both before and after heat treatments.
  • You can leave jewellery and valuables in your locked cabin; it's most comfortable to have no accessories on during treatment.
  • If you've had the scrub & foam ritual, avoid sunbathing and heavy makeup that same day — let your skin rest.
  • If you're pregnant, have a cardiovascular or blood pressure condition, or an ongoing health issue, check with your doctor before starting the programme and let us know when booking — we'll plan a heat-free flow that suits you.

Hygiene is our responsibility: rooms are aired out and disinfected after every session, equipment is sterilised, and textiles are never reused. Feel free to ask anything before your session — we won't start a treatment we can't clearly explain.

How Does the Spa Work for Couples and Groups?

A spa experience is even better shared: in couples' programmes, sessions are scheduled at the same time so you can spend your rest break together. For anniversaries, birthdays, or simply a "let's do something good for us" day, the hammam + massage combination is the most popular choice — we adjust the duration and content to suit your pace as a couple.

We also arrange back-to-back session schedules for groups of friends and special celebrations, staggering times so everyone's programme fits into the same visit. Just give us a call to plan your date and time — let's design your spa day together in Ankara. You can also check our service list for package details and durations.
